Multi-media presentation titled, Living With Autism: Breaking Through Barriers

Benjamin is an exceptional role model; his story of overcoming adversity is inspiring to listeners of all ages:
  • an uplifting experience that touches the heart... empowers audience members to meet their own challenges
  • autism education that speaks up for an increasingly large portion of our population
  • view a 7-minute demo-video on YouTube
To engage Benjamin as a speaker, please contact us at: malva@benjaminbreakingbarriers.com

       Full-length version:
  • fits standard 50-minute class period
  • 5-minute introduction by Malva (provides perspective)
  • 30-minute talk accompanied by 30 power point slides—mainly photos
  • concludes with 5-minute performance element, followed by a Q&A session
  • geared towards middle-school-age students through adults
Short version:  20 minutes in length
  • includes brief introduction by Malva, and a shortened version of performance element
  • appropriate for limited time-slots, younger audiences

Education is a bridge to compassion. One special focus of Benjamin’s presentations is to break down the barrier of misunderstanding, and to thus reduce bullying behaviors in schools. Benjamin is a role model for how other teens with “differences” can become self-advocates.

Another special focus is to inspire college-age students who might consider pursuing a career of working therapeutically with the large population of children who are now being diagnosed with autism.
